Digital Marketing Executive

We’re seeking an energetic and ambitious Digital Marketing Executive to join our marketing team. Our small but mighty team covers a lot of ground, and our digital presence is growing. You will help InstaVolt become the EV charging network of choice by increasing the visibility of InstaVolt charger locations across multiple maps such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, ZapMap, and others.
This role is crucial in optimising InstaVolt location listings according to brand values and best SEO practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for testing and developing strategies for paid advertising and communication across social media and CRM platforms.
InstaVolt is at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution, providing a reliable and widespread network of rapid EV charging stations across the UK. Key responsibilities
- Map Listings Owner & New site management
- Manage the new sites calendar and ensure timely communication materials are prepared
- Optimise site listings and ensure all new sites are added to our digital publisher (YEXT)
- Be first point of call for our digital publisher, to review listings, discuss optimisations and resolve any issues
- CRM & Social Media
- Manage CRM campaigns, including Trustpilot send-outs for Volts customers and inactive app users.
- Develop and distribute a monthly InstaVolt newsletter, featuring new sites and relevant news such as off-peak campaigns.
- Coordinate communication strategies across social media channels and CRM systems.
- Analyse performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve marketing goals.
- Update the team on upcoming sites during regular marketing meetings.
- Website Management
- Address and troubleshoot website issues (e.g., VAT receipt generator problems, footer display issues).
- Create and update core charger location web pages when required
- Digital advertising Content
- Act as the main contact for digital video uploads to our charging stations.
- Paid Media Initiatives
- Collaborate on setting up and managing paid media campaigns (Meta & Google).
- Explore creative opportunities to enhance paid media campaigns.
You’ll be reporting into the Head of Digital who is there to support, guide and develop you. We don’t expect someone to be an expert in all elements of digital marketing yet, but we are looking for someone who has previous experience in digital marketing roles, is as happy with the detail as they are with ideas.
Key skills and experience required:
- Experience of working in digital marketing teams previously
- An interest in results, analytics and digital optimisation
- Proactivity to get on with the tasks in hand whilst keeping your stakeholders updated with progresses
- Strong communication skills – one of the key components to success in a marketing team
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with electric vehicles and the EV market is a plus, but not essential.
- UK drivers’ licence

Salary: Up to £35,000 + 10% discretionary annual bonus
