Business Development Manager – Advertising

We’re looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Advertising Business Development Manager to help grow our rapidly expanding EV charging network by bringing new advertising partners onboard. This is an ideal opportunity for someone in the early stages of their sales career who wants to make their mark in the digital and EV sectors, two of the fastest-growing industries in the UK!
You’ll be confident, proactive, and naturally great at building rapport. Your role will revolve around meeting businesses, pitching creative advertising opportunities, and developing strong relationships with brands, agencies, and local and national organisations who want to reach audiences through our charging network. You’ll enjoy being out on the road, attending meetings and events, and uncovering opportunities where businesses can benefit from high-impact, sustainable advertising channels.
This role suits someone who thrives on networking, socialising with clients, and confidently presenting compelling advertising solutions. You’ll spot commercial opportunities, nurture leads, and help shape our advertising proposition as we continue to scale our footprint.

Permanent Full-Time Contract.
£40,000 – £45,000 basic salary, with OTE of £70,000 – £90,000 per annum
What you’ll do:
- Prospect daily to identify businesses and agencies looking for innovative advertising opportunities
- Build and grow a pipeline of advertisers interested in promoting their brand across our nationwide EV charger network
- Meet clients and potential partners to understand their advertising goals and present tailored solutions
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposal decks, and campaign recommendations
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to network and secure new advertising partnerships
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, both externally and internally
- Work with internal teams to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and meet client expectations
- Identify market trends and insights to help shape future advertising packages and offerings
- Produce sales forecasts, reports, and insights for management
- Contribute to broader sales and marketing strategies relating to advertising growth
Required skills and knowledge:
- Confidence in speaking and meeting new people including stakeholders of large businesses
- A drive and passion to seek new business opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build excellent relationships with peers and partners
- Initiative and good decision-making skills

- Full UK Driving Licence
Required experience:
- Experience or interest in advertising, media sales, DOOH, or related industries
- Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Experience growing or managing accounts (advantageous)
- Ability to tailor sales approaches to different client types
- Experience managing and prioritising tasks to meet business needs
- Strong team player with the ability to meet deadlines
- Able to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality delivery
- Self-motivated and confident in a fast-paced sales environment
- Target-driven with the ability to perform under pressure
