Our technology

We have several technology partners including ChargePoint, BYD and Alpitronic.

We choose partners who are able to work with us to design, develop and tailored chargers to InstaVolt’s needs, while supporting us with all technology aspects, from charging station hardware to energy management software, cloud services and an optional innovative mobile app.

All of InstaVolt’s chargers are DC chargers, with power output ranging from 50kW – 150kW.

All our rapid DC chargers are a minimum 50kW and can be upgraded to 350kW, offering the fastest rates of charge and allowing you to get back on the road in minutes.

Driver friendly

The BYD features a large format  12″ LED Display, and a separate user interface, streamlining the customer experience. Our CPE250 features a 20” LED display, which makes availability and status easy to see, even from a distance, while the 10” LCD touchscreen enables simple driver interaction and display of car charging status, instructional videos and more.

Swing arms make it easy to reach vehicle charging ports in any location and keep them off the ground.

Exceptional charging capacity in a slim package provides considerable installation flexibility and is visually pleasing.


Any EV with DC rapid charging capabilities can be accommodated with open standard connectors: CHAdeMO, CCS1 (SAE J1772™ Combo), CCS2 (IEC 61851-23), GB/T (20234.3-2011 DtC).

Minimal moving parts and liquid cooling technology increase reliability and minimise ongoing field service for maintenance.


Modular components are field installable without any specialised tools or expertise.

ChargePoint support monitors stations and power modules remotely 24×7. Intelligent diagnostics and machine learning techniques predictively prevent failures and ensure stations are always available for drivers.
