With unrivalled industry experience, Adrian has enjoyed a career within the energy sector that currently spans over 30 years.

He is a leading figure within energy efficiency and has spearheaded the growth of the sector throughout his career. In 2010 he co-founded energy efficiency firm, Anesco Ltd, with COO Tim Payne. Under his leadership the company was ranked as number one in The Sunday Times Fast Track list two years in a row, as well as coming top of the newspaper’s Profit Track 100 in 2016.

Adrian retired from his role as CEO of Anesco in early 2016 and now holds several consultancy roles. He is delighted to take the part time role of chairman at InstaVolt.

Anna Sundell joined EQT in 2010. She is today Partner and Head of Infrastructure UK and responsible for EQT’s investments in InstaVolt and Covanta Europe.

Prior to moving to London in 2019, Anna was located in Stockholm working with EQTs investments in e.g., Swedegas, Hector Rail and GB Railfreight. Anna is actively involved in driving EQT Infra’s sustainability agenda and recruitment for the Infra team in Europe.

Delvin has spent 26 years in senior management roles in the energy service and energy efficiency sector, joining InstaVolt from eEnergy Group plc where he was the Managing Director of Energy Management.

During a highly successful seven-year term at eEnergy, Delvin managed a tremendous period of growth which saw the original business Utility Team, which he joined as CEO in 2016, grow from a small energy operator to the fifth largest in the UK. Delvin also led two buy outs, first to eEnergy in 2021 and, secondly, in January 2024, when he sold it out of eEnergy to DCC plc before joining InstaVolt as Chief Executive Officer in May 2024.

Investment Director

Benjamin Bygott-Webb joined EQT Partners in 2019. He is a Manging Director and oversees EQT’s investments in InstaVolt and Covanta Europe.

Prior to joining EQT Partners, Ben was at Antin Infrastructure Partners working with Antin’s investments in Eurofiber, CityFibre and Westerleigh. Before that he worked at Rothschild focused on M&A transactions in Infrastructure, Power and Energy.

An experienced senior finance leader, Chris has been with InstaVolt since 2020 and has enjoyed a successful career with some of the UK’s largest consumer goods businesses over the last 15 years.

Prior to InstaVolt, Chris began his career at IBM before holding senior positions with global food supplier Mars Inc, the UK’s largest food manufacturer Boparan Holdings and FTSE 250 online retailer AO.com.

Chris’ experience includes significant commercial analysis with sales and marketing partners, managing large teams across multiple locations, mergers and acquisitions, operational cost saving programmes and supporting key senior stakeholders at board levels.

Dorothy Thompson

Dorothy Thompson has extensive experience in the power and renewable energy sector, having held the position of CEO of one of Britain’s largest energy companies, Drax Group plc, for 12 years.

Dorothy’s previous roles span widely. In December 2022 she was appointed to the Board of Rotork plc as a Non-Executive Director and Chair designate. Rotork plc is a FTSE 250 engineering company. She became Chair in April 2023. Previously, Dorothy was a non-executive Director on the Court of the Bank of England for 8 years, and she is a non-executive director of the NYSE listed power management company, Eaton Corporation, a role she has held since 2016. In 2013, she was appointed a Commander of the British Empire and her considerable experience in the fields of business and energy will be utilised to inform InstaVolt’s continued growth.

Andrew Jones joined InstaVolt’s board in a non-executive capacity in 2022.

As the CEO of LondonMetric Property plc, which owns one of UK’s leading listed logistics warehousing platforms, and with previous experience as Executive Director and Head of Retail at British Land, Andrew’s experience serves InstaVolt with exceptional insight, supporting the expansion of the company’s charging infrastructure.

Retail and consumer goods specialist, Andy Higginson, joined InstaVolt’s board as a Non-Executive Director in 2022.

With more than 40 years in business spanning the retail and consumer goods sectors, former chair of Morrisons and former Financial Director at Tesco, Andy brings significant experience in working with industry titans. He will support InstaVolt on future challenges and opportunities faced, as the company grows.
