InstaVolt opens its largest hub in London at historic Syon Park just off the M4
InstaVolt, the largest and most reliable EV rapid charging network in the UK, has opened a 14 charger superhub at iconic Syon Park in West London, ideal for commuters and local drivers alike.
Offering speeds of up to 160kW, the superhub has been activated in the grounds of the picturesque stately home and estate, famous for its appearances in top-rated TV dramas like Bridgerton. Situated just 3 miles from the M4, and close to Heathrow Airport, the site is along a main commuter artery, the A316 which runs from the capital to the M3.
Drivers on the InstaVolt network will not only benefit from the spacious grounds and parking but can enjoy a host of amenities at the magnificent Syon House and Gardens. The destination showcases the award-winning Hillier garden centre, The Courtyard Restaurant with al fresco dining and views of Syon House Great Conservatory, and The Clocktower Café for barista-prepared hot drinks plus sweet and savoury treats. Visitors can also visit the Lakeland store onsite, Wyndhams family-run butchers providing the finest quality meat and poultry and the Hilton Hotel.
Adrian Keen, InstaVolt’s CEO, said: “This is an important location for us as it caters for not only commuters and local drivers but those making a visit to Syon Park and its fabulous amenities together with the Hilton Hotel which has outstanding conference facilities. Our philosophy at InstaVolt is to create hubs where people can stop and recharge their EVs while at the same time relax and recharge themselves.”
“Located in a busy urban area undergoing huge regeneration, the addition of our superhub will provide vital support to a busy part of London and the growing number of EVs travelling through the capital every day. More than that the installation further cements InstaVolt’s commitment to delivering high-speed, reliable charging close to major cities and towns.”
Simon Prior from the Syon Park Estate said ‘We are delighted that the InstaVolt Super Hub is now available to our visitors and customers as part of the Estate’s wider objective of a greener future. We very much hope that drivers will make use of all the facilities at Syon Park including the coffee shop, restaurant, Garden Centre and Lakeland store whilst waiting for their vehicles to charge.”
Voted as one of Britain’s top rapid charging networks**, InstaVolt’s chargers are powered using 100% renewable energy, easy to use and take contactless payment: there’s no need to sign up and no subscription required.
Drivers can visit the website, or sign up to the optional InstaVolt App, where they can find their nearest charging station, search for real-time availability across its sites, and pay for their charge – all in one place.
InstaVolt has plans in place to install 11,000 chargers in the UK and Ireland, 5,000 across Spain and Portugal, and over 300 in Iceland. With a pipeline of more than 16,000 chargers the Hampshire based company has employed staff in all regions to fulfil its goal to be the largest CPO in Europe.
