InstaVolt the largest owner operator of rapid electric vehicle charging stations across the UK and we pride ourselves on customer experience and satisfaction. Our team of Electrical Service Engineers provide a full range of maintenance to our stations, as well as playing a crucial role in the expansion of the network and the continuation of our reputation as best in the industry.

InstaVolt seeks an individual who can assist in obtaining electricity connections for EV chargers. A successful candidate will be expected to liaise with DNO’s (Distribution Network Operator) to obtain grid offers and accept quotes for connection, as well as distributing site information between the relevant teams internally. It is preferred if applicants have previous experience with DNO connections however not essential. The company is fast paced so the ability to work quickly and efficiently is important. At any one time the successful candidate will be expected to work on multiple sites at different stages of development which means the ability to prioritise and work under pressure is crucial.

£24,500 – £26,500 Depending on experience.

The role

Full training will be provided to assist you with the below responsibilities

  • Support the application and acceptance process for electricity connections
  • Track and update the progress of connections using our Salesforce platform
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Ensure connections are progressing on schedule
  • Record project costs and proactively chase refunds
  • Provide administrative support to the team’s Wayleaves Officer

Required skills:

  • Great time management, organisation and communication skills
  • To be able to work under pressure and within a fast moving, dynamic industry
  • Prioritise workload depending on a variety of factors
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint and OneDrive and the ability to pick up knowledge on different systems.
  • Great administration skills to allow for tracking of site progress and information sharing
