Our team of Electrical Service Engineers provide a full range of maintenance to our stations, as well as playing a crucial role in the expansion of the network and the continuation of our reputation as best in the industry.

To support our growth of our network, assets, scheduling and job management we have recently implemented an MRI CAFM system. We are looking to recruit an Operations and CAFM Administrator reporting directly to Head of Operations & Maintenance, to maintain the platform as the business continues to grow in the UK and European market.

Role Overview:
The role will be based at our Basingstoke Head office and will suit a dedicated individual who is looking to develop their career within this expanding and fast paced industry. You will need to have knowledge of CAFM systems (Preferably MRI) and demonstrate experience, to be able to set up maintenance regimes and asset data loading through excel upload tools. Excellent knowledge of Excel is a requirement along with basic knowledge of other office 365 programmes.

 

The sector is one of the fastest growing in the country and this is a great opportunity to join one of the market leaders.  The role is primarily based around the administration and updating of the Computer Aided Facilities Management platform to ensure it is representative of the managed InstaVolt estate. The role will require you to directly support the Head of Operations & Maintenance, work closely with key internal stakeholders, peers and working closely with our field based engineers, ensuring system data is an accurate reflection of our site and assets they are attending.

The role will include, but not limited to, the below tasks;

  • Act as a point of contact for users of CAFM platform.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues where possible when presented.
  • Escalate as appropriate to CAFM system supplier to resolve any faults or errors in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that the correct asset information and retrospective PPMs are in place for all sites.
  • Manage the asset register to ensure it is up to date, accurate, and complete to enable the successful delivery of planned maintenance activities. This includes for instance, and as required: uploading data; recording site openings or closures; adding, amending, or decommissioning assets.
  • Flag areas identified as non-compliant, such as where tasks or documentation are not completed, for review by the Head of Operations & Maintenance
  • Supporting the management of users, roles and accounts, skills. This includes adding, removing, and managing permissions for users of the system, e.g., staff, suppliers and contracted staff going to sites.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate with multiple members of staff, from reporting to their manager, members of the network performance team, field dispatch schedulers, customer service team, project managers, members of the installation team and the team of service engineers. You will need to have knowledge of CAFM systems (Preferably MRI) and excellent knowledge of Excel is a requirement

This role would suit somebody who is dedicated to their role, who has great communication skills and the desire to see a job through to its conclusion. The industry and business are very fast moving and the successful candidate would be expected to have the ability to adapt and change to the needs of the business. The role will grow with the business and is a pivotal position within the company to ensure that InstaVolt remains at the pinnacle of the EV charging sector.

  • The ability to deal and communicate with multiple teams including field-based service engineers and react to a changing working environment and work under pressure.
  • Quickly adapt to changes and learn new skills and techniques.
  • Provide prompt response to enquiries whenever required, and the ability to deal with and resolve issues and queries.
  • Be able to work under their own initiative, with great organisational skills.
  • Have a good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Have excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Basic understanding of health and safety, or the willingness to learn, to ensure H&S issues are reported in the correct manner.
  • Good communication and customer facing skills, with the ability to communicate with a variety of people during your working day.

Salary: £23,500 – £25,000 Depending on experience.
