The highly anticipated Electric Vehicle Innovation & Excellence (EVIE) Awards has recognised InstaVolt as one of the leading EV charging infrastructure providers in the UK for the second year running.

As the country’s largest owner operated network of rapid electric vehicle chargers, InstaVolt has been named as a finalist in two categories in the prestigious EVIE Awards 2021, just one year after winning both titles for the first time in the 2020 awards ceremony.

The categories are “Private Sector Infrastructure Strategy of the Year” which celebrates private sector companies that have gone above and beyond to further the penetration of EV infrastructure and “Charging Network of the Year” which recognises technological innovation, charger availability and customer satisfaction. The winners will be announced at the EVIE Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner on Tuesday, 19 October at the Bristol Harbour Hotel.

Adrian Keen, CEO, said: “We’re thrilled to be shortlisted in two prestigious categories at the 2021 EVIEs, and would like to thank all EV drivers who have topped up at one of our chargers across the UK for their support.

“The field of finalists in all categories this year shows that there is serious effort being made towards improving EV infrastructure in the country, which is vital to achieving our net zero targets. As the eyes of the world turn to the UK ahead of COP26, it’s important to maintain this momentum and keep innovating and revolutionising the EV industry.

“At InstaVolt, we’re committed to making rapid EV charging accessible for all drivers. We’re passionate about ensuring there are no barriers to EV uptake by making our technology as simple to use as possible, and ensuring there’s an open dialogue between our team and the EV driving community. Having won both Chargepoint Network of the Year and Private Sector Infrastructure Strategy of the Year in 2020, we’re honoured to be shortlisted again in 2021 and can’t wait until the ceremony in October!”
