InstaVolt expands Summer Special charging rate to even more sites!

With the sun shining and summer road trips getting underway, whether you are heading north, south, east or west, InstaVolt is making it easier.

Following the successful launch of our Summer Special charging rate at Bodmin Retail Park, Syon Park Isleworth and the Winchester Superhub, we’re excited to announce that this limited-time offer is now available at 3 more InstaVolt locations.

From 7pm on Thursday 17^th July 2025 until the end of August, drivers can benefit from our Summer Special pricing* at the following sites:

• Derby – our 6-charger hub on Normanton Road, Derby, DE1 2GG

• Exeter – our 8-charger hub at The Gissons Hotel, Kennford, Exeter, EX6 7UD

• Southampton – our 4-charger site at Unit 1, Purlieu Centre, Hardley Ind Est, Southampton, SO45 3AE

These key locations are perfect for EV drivers whether you’re venturing to the coast, passing through the countryside, or topping up between destinations.

At all Summer Special sites, drivers using the InstaVolt app or InstaVolt RFID card can charge for just £0.50 per kWh, while contactless and roaming users enjoy a competitive rate of £0.54 per kWh. This pricing is available 24/7 until 31st August 2025, giving drivers across the UK the chance to charge up for less during the busiest travel season of the year.

This seasonal pricing reflects InstaVolt’s commitment to passing on savings when we can – while still delivering the same ultra-rapid, reliable and 100% renewable charging experience our network is known for.

You can now take advantage of the Summer Special at 6 sites from large hubs to smaller convenient stop-offs. Whether you’re stopping off for a bite, stocking up on supplies, or simply stretching your legs, each of these sites offers convenient access, comfortable surroundings, and facilities nearby to make your journey that little bit easier.

The Summer Special rate of £0.54 per kWh is available to all contactless users and roaming customers until the 31st August 2025. Users of InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID card will be charged at £0.50 per kWh rate.  The InstaVolt Summer Special rates apply 24/7 at participating locations only:  

These rates apply from 7pm Thursday 17th July:

• Derby (Normanton Road, Derby, DE1 2GG)

The rates are already in place at these InstaVolt sites:

• Syon Park (Park Road, Isleworth, London, TW8 8JF)
• Winchester Superhub (Andover Road, Winchester, SO21 3ET) 

After 7:00pm on 31st August 2025:   

• Pricing at all participating sites excluding Winchester Superhub will be charged at the standard rate of £0.87 per kWh. For InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID users the standard off peak rate of £0.54 per kWh (8:00pm – 7:00am) will apply.   
• Pricing at Winchester Superhub will be charged at the standard rate of £0.87 per kWh.  For InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID users the rates will be charged at £0.65 per kWh (7:00am – 7:00pm) and off-peak rate of £0.54 per kWh (7:00pm – 7:00am).
