InstaVolt extends Summer Special charging rate and launches it to even more sites!

With the sun shining, the bank holiday looming and summer road trips in full swing, whether you are heading north, south, east or west, InstaVolt is making it easier.

Following the success of our Summer Special charging rate at seven regional sites, we have extended the offer until the end of September to keep the Summer vibe going a bit longer! On top of that we have expanded the offer to three more charging locations around the country.

From today until 8pm on the 30th of September, drivers can now benefit from our Summer Special pricing* at the following sites:

• Blaydon-on-Tyne – on Tyne Street, Blaydon-on-Tyne, NE21 4JB

• Preston (Penwortham) – on Millbrook Way, Penwortham, Preston, PR1 0XW

• Bristol (Hambrook) – at Bristol Golf Centre, Common Mead Lane, Hambrook, Winterbourne, Bristol, BS16 1QQ

These key locations are perfect for EV drivers – whether you’re venturing to the coast, passing through the countryside, or topping up between destinations.

At all Summer Special sites, drivers using the InstaVolt app or InstaVolt RFID card can charge for just £0.50 per kWh, while contactless and roaming users enjoy a competitive rate of £0.54 per kWh. This pricing is available until 8pm on the 30th September 2025, giving drivers across the UK the chance to charge up for less during the busiest travel season of the year.

This seasonal pricing reflects InstaVolt’s commitment to passing on savings when we can – while still delivering the same reliable and 100% renewable charging experience our network is known for.

You can now take advantage of the Summer Special at 10 sites from large hubs to smaller convenient stop-offs. Whether you’re stopping off for a bite, stocking up on supplies, or simply stretching your legs, each of these sites offers convenient access, comfortable surroundings, and facilities nearby to make your journey that little bit easier.

This limited-time reduced rate is made possible by InstaVolt’s commitment to using renewable energy to power its chargers and purchasing the power when the rates are low – allowing us to pass savings directly back to drivers.
