InstaVolt wins Fast-Track Company of the Year at the prestigious UK Green Business Awards

The UK’s leading rapid electric vehicle charging network InstaVolt, has won the coveted Fast-Track Company of the Year Award in the prestigious UK Green Business Awards which were held in London last night.

The UK Green Business Awards offer a unique opportunity to highlight some of the most exciting, inspiring, and innovative companies, projects, and campaigns operating in the UK today.

Simon Smith, InstaVolt’s Chief Commercial Officer, who accepted the award on behalf of the company, said: “We are thrilled to accept the award at the UK Green Business Awards which celebrate the best of the country’s green economy”

This flagship award was open to UK businesses that could demonstrate to the judges a real commitment to developing new and more sustainable ways of doing business.

Simon added: “It’s fantastic to be recognised for our dedicated approach to sustainability and for the hard work of our team at InstaVolt. We’re installing record numbers of chargers, with more than 1480 live chargers and another 400 in build. We are also installing chargers at a faster rate than any other charge point operator. ”

Leading the way in the UK’s EV charge point rollout, with reliable and contactless charging solutions, InstaVolt has plans in place to install 11,000 ultra rapid chargers in the UK and Ireland; 5,000 across Spain and Portugal; and over 300 in Iceland – setting the benchmark for reliable, contactless, EV charging across the world.

The UK Green Business Awards took place last night at The Brewery in Farringdon, London, and brought together over 600 leading executives, investors, business leaders, and campaigners for a gala ceremony which celebrated the UK’s best and brightest green businesses, projects, and initiatives.
