Base: InstaVolt Head Office – Chineham Business Park, Basingstoke

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Salary: £18,000 + 10% discretionary annual bonus

Course: Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 (18 months)

InstaVolt is at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution, providing a reliable and widespread network of rapid EV charging stations across the UK. We’re committed to making electric vehicle charging as simple and accessible as possible, and now we’re looking to take our digital presence to the next level.

The role

We’re seeking an energetic and ambitious individual to join our marketing team. Our small but mighty team covers a lot of ground, and our digital presence is growing. You will help InstaVolt become the EV charger of choice by increasing the visibility of InstaVolt charger locations across multiple maps such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, ZapMap, and others.

This role is crucial in optimising InstaVolt location listings according to brand values and best SEO practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for testing and developing strategies for paid advertising and communication across social media and CRM platforms.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content across platforms.
  • Support the team in planning and executing marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and digital advertising.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Help to maintain and update the company website and blog using CMS tools.
  • Draft and edit marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and case studies.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop new ideas for campaigns and promotions.
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in event planning and coordination, including trade shows, webinars, and workshops.
  • Manage administrative tasks, such as maintaining the marketing calendar and coordinating meetings.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Strong interest in marketing and digital communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook).
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks.

  • An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

How the training works in conjunction with the job responsibilities:

Diverse Futures will work closely with you to complete your Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship. This 18-month programme is delivered on a 1-to-1 basis in the workplace and online. You’ll receive dedicated support from our expert coaches/ trainers, ensuring you stay on track with your learning and meet all deadlines.

We offer regular reviews between your coach, manager, and yourself to ensure your development is aligned with the apprenticeship objectives. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will receive a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer qualification.
