InstaVolt reopens Cradley Heath Charging Site with enhanced cable theft protection

EV drivers in Cradley Heath can now charge with confidence following the reopening of InstaVolt’s charging site at the KFC on Halesowen Road Old Hill, now equipped with the latest CableGuard™ anti-theft technology.

Located just off the A459 the site is back online after cable damage recently and its now part of InstaVolt’s growing list of sites protected by CableGuard™.

This Cradley Heath site is now fully restored and more secure, offering the same trusted convenience EV drivers expect from InstaVolt. With a KFC, you can stop and grab a bite to eat while your car is plugged in. This site is also well located near open space to go for a walk or complete some errands nearby.

Around the UK we are rolling out CableGuard™ as it is a high-strength cable sleeve that if interfered with releases a forensic liquid that glows under UV light and is traceable to a specific location making it a powerful deterrent and supporting law enforcement in tracking and prosecuting offenders.
