Winchester Summer Special: 54p/kWh for contactless + roaming partners

Find out more X

There’s one thing you can count on this May Bank Holiday weekend – whatever the weather – InstaVolt’s Winchester Superhub will bring you some sunshine!

Whether you’re dashing indoors or soaking up some spring rays, our flagship charging hub is your perfect pitstop this long weekend. And now, our new Summer Special rate, will brighten up every journey.

Day and night over the weekend and until the 31st of August, all EV drivers charging at the Winchester Superhub will enjoy reduced tariffs. Contactless and roaming users can charge at 54p per kWh, while those using the InstaVolt app or InstaVolt RFID card will benefit from an even lower rate of 50p per kWh.* No matter how you charge or when you arrive, you’ll enjoy lower rates for the same ultra-reliable, ultra-fast experience InstaVolt is known for.

Located just off the A34 at The Worthy’s turning and within easy reach of the M3, the Winchester Superhub is designed for both convenience and comfort. The site features 44 ultra-rapid chargers (up to 160kW) meaning fast top-ups as well and indoor and outdoor facilities. There’s an on-site Starbucks café for refreshments while you charge, a 24-hour toilet facility, a dedicated dog-walking zone, and a children’s play area – so there is something for everyone!

Winchester isn’t just InstaVolt’s largest site – it’s also our most advanced. It’s the first InstaVolt location to feature an on-site solar farm, with 870 panels generating clean energy. Backed by a cutting-edge battery storage system (960kW/4MWh), the Superhub stores solar energy to reduce grid dependency, maintain price stability, and offer affordable charging – especially during peak demand periods. So if the clouds roll overhead, the site is always generating its own sunshine, and we’re proud to pass those savings directly back to our customers.

*T&Cs apply: The Winchester Superhub Summer Special rate of £0.54 per kWh is available to all contactless, users and current roaming customers of Corpay, Charge Now, Octopus Electroverse, PAUA and OVO Charge from 7pm, 16th May until the 31st August 2025. Users of InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID card will be charged at £0.50 per kWh rate. The Winchester Superhub Summer Special rates apply 24/7 at the InstaVolt Winchester EV Superhub only. After 7:00pm on 31 August 2025, pricing will revert to standard tariffs for InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID users: £0.50 per kWh (7:00pm – 7:00am) and £0.65 per kWh (7:00am – 7:00pm). All other users, including those paying via contactless methods or roaming partners, will continue to be charged the standard rate of £0.87 per kWh.
