Driving down the A1 this summer? Our Pontefract hub now has the Summer Special charging rate

Well located at the A1 Southbound Services, our busy Pontefract hub is the latest to be included in our Summer Special. From 7pm on 23rd July 2025 we are offering reduced rates 24/7 through to 31st August 2025.

Whether you’re heading off on holiday, travelling for work, or simply passing through, Pontefract A1 Southbound offers a convenient and cost-effective place to power up.

As part of the InstaVolt Summer Special, drivers using the InstaVolt app or InstaVolt RFID card can now charge for just £0.50 per kWh, while those using contactless or roaming services can enjoy a great-value rate of £0.54 per kWh. These special prices are available all day, every day throughout the summer.*

This site is equipped with 12 ultra-rapid 160kW chargers, including accessible bays, giving you the speed, scale and reliability you need for a quick stop-off. While your vehicle charges, grab refreshments at the on-site services or take a breather before continuing your journey – all powered by 100% renewable energy.
