We’re proud to share that our CEO, Delvin Lane, has been named CEO of the Year
We are delighted to share that InstaVolt’s CEO, Delvin Lane, has been recognised as CEO of the Year (Under £50m) at the prestigious Thames Valley 250 Awards 2025. The awards celebrate the top-performing companies and leaders across the Thames Valley region. Delvin’s recognition comes as a result of his outstanding leadership, vision, and ability to deliver growth and innovation in one of the UK’s fastest-moving sectors.
When presenting the award, Andrew Peddie, Corporate Partner at Gateley Legal, praised this year’s winner, saying: “This CEO has guided their business through rapid growth and transformation, cementing its place as a leader in one of the most competitive and fast-moving sectors. What makes them stand out is the balance between ambitious expansion and a clear commitment to sustainability, innovation, and customer experience.”
Delvin joined InstaVolt with a clear mission: to accelerate the UK’s transition to cleaner transport by building the country’s most reliable and accessible ultra-rapid charging network. Under his leadership, InstaVolt has expanded to more than 2,000 public charging points across the UK, from remote rural locations to flagship hubs such as our new Winchester Superhub. This network isn’t just about numbers – it’s about creating a charging experience that EV drivers can rely on, and InstaVolt is consistently rated among the UK’s top EV charging networks for ease of use, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Commenting on the award, Delvin said: “I’m truly honoured to receive this recognition, but it’s only possible thanks to the incredible team around me at InstaVolt. Their hard work, passion, and commitment make achievements like this a reality.”
Looking ahead, InstaVolt’s ambition is to deliver 11,000 chargers across the UK and Ireland by 2030. This target is backed by a strong pipeline of new sites, a commitment to sustainability, and a customer-first approach to every new site we open. By expanding our network at pace, we’re helping make the switch to electric vehicles more accessible than ever – removing barriers for drivers and accelerating the UK’s journey to net zero.
Delvin’s award is not only a recognition of his leadership, but also a testament to the passion and dedication of the entire InstaVolt team. Together, we are building the charging infrastructure of the future – and delivering it today. Congratulations, Delvin, on this well-earned recognition. 🚗⚡
