Just 50p/kWh 24/7 at the Winchester EV Superhub

We are pleased to share that InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID customers can take advantage of an exclusive reduced price offer at our Winchester Superhub.

From 7am on Friday 9th May until 7pm on Saturday 31st May 2025, InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID card users can charge at the Winchester EV Superhub for just 50p/kWh day and night.*

The Winchester Superhub is an innovative site for sustainable EV charging as it is our first site to feature an on-site solar farm (870 panels) and advanced battery storage systems (with 960kW/4MWh total capacity). This self-sufficient model means the Superhub generates and stores renewable energy to reduce reliance on the grid, allowing us to operate efficiently and sustainably. This enables the site to generate and store clean energy, delivering consistent, cost-effective power especially during peak hours and therefore allowing us to pass savings directly to back to drivers through reduced rates.

The Superhub also reflects InstaVolt’s broader mission to remove barriers to EV adoption through affordable pricing, reliable infrastructure, and driver-first facilities, all delivered at what many are calling the ‘service station of the future.’

The site features 44 ultra-rapid chargers, with facilities including food and drink options at Starbucks cafe, 24 hour toilet facilities, a children playground and even a walking area for your dog, making it the ideal place to stop, charge and refresh on the go.

Using the InstaVolt app or InstaVolt RFID card also gives you access to the most competitive pricing at all of our sites, live charger status updates and an easy way to track your charging history.

*The May Boost promotional rate of £0.50 per kWh is available exclusively to InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID card users from 7am on Friday 9th May until 7pm on Saturday 31st May 2025. This offer is only available at the Winchester EV Superhub, located at Winchester EV Hub, Andover Road, Winchester, SO21 3ET  and is available exclusively to InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID card users. After 7:00pm on 31st May 2025, pricing will revert to standard tariffs for InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID users of £0.65 per kWh (7:00am – 7:00pm) and £0.50 per kWh (7:00pm – 7:00am). All other users, including those paying via contactless methods, will continue to be charged the standard rate of £0.87 per kWh.
