3,000 chargers and counting: InstaVolt hits a major network milestone

We’ve reached a new landmark in our network expansion: 3,000 chargers either installed or in development.

From our very first site in Devon back in 2017, our goal has always been the same – to make EV charging simple, reliable and accessible to everyone. Reaching this milestone is a clear sign of the progress we’ve made, and the growing demand for exceptional public EV infrastructure.

Our 3000^th charger will be installed as part of an exciting expansion at Booths Knutsford, which is celebrating its one-year anniversary – with a boost from three to six chargers and brand-new battery storage. The newly upgraded site is set to open in early 2026.

Every charger we install supports the switch to electric. Our network is powered by 100% renewable energy, offers contactless payment as standard, and delivers some of the best reliability figures in the industry. And by partnering with trusted names in food, retail and leisure, we ensure that our chargers are in the right places—where drivers want to stop.

We’ve got more to do. But this milestone reflects what’s possible when the right technology, partners and mindset come together.
