Polestar Test Drive Event at InstaVolt’s Winchester Superhub Proves Strong Success
InstaVolt’s flagship Winchester Superhub is continuing to establish itself as a standout destination for drivers looking to experience the latest electric vehicles first-hand.
This weekend, Polestar and Snows Motor Group returned to the Winchester site for another dedicated test drive event, which proved to be a strong success. With 90% of available appointments pre-booked, the event attracted high levels of interest from drivers keen to explore Polestar’s electric range. A number of motorists who were already visiting the Superhub to charge their existing EVs also booked test drives on the day, underlining the appeal of hosting these events at one of the UK’s best-known charging destinations.
Visitors had the opportunity to see and drive the Polestar 2, Polestar 3 and Polestar 4, giving both first-time EV drivers and existing electric vehicle owners the chance to experience the models up close.
Mike Hutchings, Manager of Snows Polestar in Southampton and Plymouth, said: “We had a brilliant event with customers keen to try drive our cars – from those getting behind the wheel of an electric car for the first time to existing EV drivers looking to change their current model.”
He added: “I was particularly impressed with the speed of InstaVolt’s 160kW ultra-rapid chargers, with cars charging from 20% to 90% in just 23 minutes. Incredible! A fantastic weekend!”
The event highlighted not only growing interest in EV test drive experiences, but also the role charging hubs can play in bringing together drivers, manufacturers and retailers in one convenient location.
