Devin Lane, our CEO today joined a panel of leading local entrepreneurs at this year’s Basingstoke Growth Summit, sharing our insights on building and scaling successful businesses in the region.

The panel, chaired by Mark Jones, consultant for Destination Basingstoke, featured Delvin alongside Natalie Chapple, Managing Director and Founder of Glisten Cosmetics, and Gary Livingstone, Managing Director of LG Motion. Together, they explored the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship, from fostering innovation and sustainability to nurturing local talent and resilience.

Following the discussion, the floor was opened to questions and the panel were met with an engaging and insightful conversation with attendees from across the Basingstoke business community.

With our head office based in Basingstoke, we’re proud to be part of the town’s thriving business ecosystem. Nearly 25% of our team live in Basingstoke, and over 31% live within a 10-mile radius – demonstrating just how deeply our success is rooted in the local community.

Basingstoke and Deane is one of the South East’s most productive and resilient economies, yet the town is often overlooked on the regional and national stage.

Basingstoke Business Week, culminating in the Basingstoke Growth Summit, aimed to change that narrative by celebrating local innovation, investment, and collaboration.

Delvin said: “I was delighted to meet so many new colleagues and people from such a variety of businesses right on our doorstep. Events like these highlight the strength of collaboration, and the shared drive to make Basingstoke an even greater hub for growth and innovation.”
