InstaVolt has unveiled its latest ultra-rapid EV charging site in East Devon, delivering essential charging infrastructure to a rural area of the South West.

Situated just off the B3174 near Exeter, the new site features eight state-of-the-art 160kW chargers, providing drivers with access to fast, reliable charging 24/7 in a peaceful countryside setting.

The location supports local residents, commuters, and visitors travelling through the area or exploring the nearby villages and landscapes.

The launch marks a continued expansion of InstaVolt’s award-winning network into both urban and rural area, making reliable EV charging more accessible across the UK.

“We’re proud to bring ultra-rapid EV charging to rural areas like this, which all helps to support local communities and widen the accessibility of EV charging across the country,” said InstaVolt CEO, Delvin Lane.

“This location on London Road offers the same reliability and ease of use InstaVolt is known for in a rural, scenic setting. As the EV market grows and becomes more accessible, we’re committed to making charging convenient, wherever drivers need it.”

The chargers at the site are powered by 100% renewable energy and support contactless payment options, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, American Express, and major debit and credit cards.

This latest installation highlights InstaVolt’s commitment to delivering infrastructure that supports both environmental targets and the everyday needs of EV drivers across the country.

As an InstaVolt app or InstaVolt RFID card user, you can enjoy lower charging rates between 8pm and 7am at only 54p/kWh, perfect for an evening out or some late-night shopping.
