£42,000 – £48,000 Depending on experience.

The role:

The HSEQ Advisor will be part of a growing team within the HSEQ department, who are focussed on ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace, while also maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing expert HS&E guidance to installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance teams.
• Promote environmental awareness and best practices across the organisation
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
• Support incident reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis; track corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist project teams with creating and reviewing RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements).
• Deliver inductions, and safety training as needed.
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure alignment with HSEQ expectations.
• Support certification programs (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001).
• Monitor legislative changes and advise on implications for the business.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualifications such as NEBOSH General Certificate/Construction Certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in a HSEQ role within construction, electrical, renewables, utilities, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Proficiency in HSEQ reporting tools and documentation.
