Upgraded InstaVolt charger now live at Culm Valley Leisure Centre, Cullompton

InstaVolt continues to enhance charging across the UK with an ongoing upgrade programme designed to make electric vehicle charging faster, more accessible and even easier for drivers. As part of this nationwide effort older units are being replaced with ultra-rapid chargers and improved bay layouts that create a better experience for all EV users. 

The latest upgrade has now been completed at Culm Valley Leisure Centre in Cullompton, where a new 160kW charger and a wider, more accessible bay have been installed. 

Situated on Meadow Lane the site is well positioned for both residents and visitors. With Culm Valley Sports Centre, Cullompton Community College, nearby walking routes, Water Meadow Playground and shops such as ALDI and Home Bargains all close by, it’s an ideal place to top up your EV while staying active or running errands. 

Like all InstaVolt locations, the upgraded charger supports simple contactless payments with major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Android Pay and a wide range of roaming partners. The site operates 24/7 and is backed by the network’s industry-leading reliability, with every charge powered completely by 100% renewable energy. The new unit is now live and ready for use, offering drivers in Cullompton a quicker and greener way to stay on the move.
