We’re thrilled to have been named the UK’s most reliable public EV charging network by the readers of What Car? magazine. With a network of hundreds of chargers stretching the length and breadth of Great Britain, we’re proud to be supplying clean EV charging to drivers across the country.

The magazine said EV drivers were “very impressed with [our] reliability” and rated us “fairly highly for value for money” – and in its road test, the magazine summed it up nicely by saying that using one of our chargers was “as painless as you’d hope it would be.”

Here’s a glimpse at what we think makes charging your electric car with InstaVolt an unparalleled experience…

Contactless Payments

Keeping our network as easy to use as possible is our main priority. We have – and always will – accept contactless payments at all of our chargers.

Simply pull up, plug in and tap your payment card to get started. It’s as simple as that.

No Sign-Ups

You don’t need to register to use an InstaVolt charger – there are no complicated registration forms or connection fees, and you’ll never have to pay a connection fee.

While we do have an app – which features a map of your nearest chargers and special offers – there’s absolutely no pressure to use it.

Great Locations

Whether you fancy grabbing a bite to eat at McDonald’s or KFC, working up a sweat at Bannatyne’s Health Clubs, or grabbing a cuppa at Starbucks or Costa Coffee – we’ve got you covered. Our network covers all corners of Great Britain, and every week we’re bringing new chargers online in popular locations.

We partner with the country’s leading brands, retail parks and service stations to ensure you can charge when and where you need to. Our network currently features over 600 rapid EV chargers – and we’ve got ambitious plans to grow that to 5,000 by 2025.

Proactive Maintenance

We’re immensely proud of our 99.7% network reliability.

What’s the point in having a great EV charger in a great location if it doesn’t work?! Our engineers periodically check all our chargers to ensure they’re in tip top condition.

Be sure to say hi if you see them out and about!
