InstaVolt adds a further site to the Summer Special charging rate!

With summer road trips in full swing, whether you are heading north, south, east or west, InstaVolt is making it easier.

Following the success of our Summer Special charging rate at ten regional sites, if you haven’t heard already – we have extended the offer until the end of September to keep the Summer vibe going a bit longer – whatever the weather! On top of that we have expanded the offer to another charging location.

From today until 8pm on the 30th of September, drivers can now benefit from our Summer Special pricing* at Dunelm, Apex Retail Park, Middleway, Birmingham, B12 0EB.

At all Summer Special sites, drivers using the InstaVolt app or InstaVolt RFID card can charge for just £0.50 per kWh, while contactless and roaming users enjoy a competitive rate of £0.54 per kWh. This pricing is available until 8pm on the 30th September 2025, giving drivers across the UK the chance to charge up for less during the busiest travel season of the year.

This seasonal pricing reflects InstaVolt’s commitment to passing on savings when we can – while still delivering the same reliable and 100% renewable charging experience our network is known for.

You can now take advantage of the Summer Special at 11 sites from large hubs to smaller convenient stop-offs. Whether you’re stopping off for a bite, stocking up on supplies, or simply stretching your legs, each of these sites offers convenient access, comfortable surroundings, and facilities nearby to make your journey that little bit easier.

This limited-time reduced rate is made possible by InstaVolt’s commitment to using renewable energy to power its chargers and purchasing the power when the rates are low – allowing us to pass savings directly back to drivers.

The Summer Special rate of £0.54 per kWh is available to all contactless users and roaming customers until 8pm on the 30th September 2025. Users of the InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID card will benefit from a discounted rate of £0.50 per kWh during the same period.

After 8pm on 30th September 2025:  

• Pricing at all participating sites will be charged at the standard rate of £0.87 per kWh. For InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID users the standard off peak rate of £0.54 per kWh (8:00pm – 7:00am) will apply.   At the Winchester Superhub this off-peak rate is 7:00pm – 7:00am.
