Between 8pm and 7am you can charge at our off-peak rate of 55p across all InstaVolt sites when you charge through the InstaVolt app, while also earning Volts.

How does InstaVolt Miles work?
InstaVolt Miles rewards you every time you charge. You’ll earn Volts for every £1 spent, with your monthly charging spend determining your tier. As you move from Starter through Bronze, Silver and Gold, you’ll earn more Volts per £1, giving you more rewards the more you charge.

InstaVolt Miles - FAQs

Every time you complete an eligible charge through the InstaVolt app, you’ll earn Volts. Your charging spend each month determines your tier for the following month, with higher tiers earning more Volts for every £1 spent.

There are four tiers: Starter, Bronze, Silver and Gold. As your monthly charging spend increases, you can move up through the tiers and earn more Volts for every £1 you spend.

Simply reach the required charging spend before the end of the month. If you qualify for a higher tier, your new tier will become active at the start of the following month.
Your charging spend then starts again from £0 for the new month and counts towards your tier for the month after.

The amount you spend on eligible, completed charging sessions linked to your InstaVolt Miles account counts towards your tier progress.
Your tier is determined based on your monthly spend for the following month – For example, if you’re in the Starter tier and you spend £30, you’ll then move into the Bronze tier for the next month.

Head to your InstaVolt Miles dashboard in the InstaVolt app to see your current tier, charging spend for the month and your progress towards the next tier.

Your multiplier determines how many Volts you earn for every £1 you spend on eligible charging. The higher your tier, the higher your multiplier – so you’ll earn Volts faster as you move through the tiers.

You can convert the Volts you’ve earned into charging credit through your InstaVolt Miles dashboard and redeem it against your next InstaVolt charge.

Don’t worry, you won’t lose the Volts you’ve already earned through our existing rewards programme. They’ll automatically transfer across to InstaVolt Miles and will be available alongside any new Volts you earn.
Your existing Volts will count towards your Volts balance and can be redeemed for charging credit, but they won’t count as charging spend or towards your progress to the next tier.

No. InstaVolt Miles is completely free, with no subscription or membership fee. It’s our way of rewarding you for choosing InstaVolt.

Yes. To earn Volts and have your charging spend count towards your InstaVolt Miles tier, your eligible charging sessions need to be completed through your InstaVolt account in the app.

Once you reach Gold, you’ll receive the highest Volts earning rate available through InstaVolt Miles. Your monthly charging spend will continue to determine your tier for the following month.

No. Your charging spend is calculated each month to determine your tier for the following month. At the start of a new month, your charging spend starts again from £0.
Your Volts balance is separate and will remain available in your account, subject to the programme terms.
