National Earth Day 2025 gives InstaVolt a reason to share sustainable credentials

On Earth Day 2025 we are pleased to share a recent survey we commissioned with Censuswide that 84% of electric vehicle (EV) drivers believe it’s important their charge comes from renewable energy, and 63% actively seek out green-powered chargers.

These findings demonstrate a significant shift in consumer priorities, with sustainability influencing decisions at the point of charge.

We are proudly aligned with this shift, as every InstaVolt charger is powered by 100% renewable energy, supplied by Octopus Energy from wind and solar sources.

With a national footprint of high-performance charging stations, InstaVolt is enabling drivers to make an environmentally conscious choice every time they plug in.

The Earth Day 2025 campaign—Power Our Planet—calls for a tripling of global renewable energy generation by 2030.

In support of this goal, InstaVolt continues to expand its green-powered network, recently celebrating major growth milestones and demonstrating a blueprint for sustainable infrastructure.

The Winchester hub, for example, combines an on-site solar farm with 870 panels and advanced battery storage systems with 960kW/4MWh total capacity and renewable grid electricity to provide a fully self-sustaining charging solution.
