InstaVolt expands it’s ultra-rapid network!

At InstaVolt, we believe charging should fit around people’s lives – not the other way around. That means placing ultra-rapid chargers on the routes drivers already travel and in the towns and retail destinations they visit every day, so topping up becomes a natural part of the journey.

As our network continues to grow across the UK, we’re expanding into more of the locations that matter most to drivers – major retail parks, busy town centres and key routes that millions of people use every week. Every new site is chosen with the same goal in mind: making EV charging easy, wherever you are.

Our latest addition is Giltbrook Shopping Park in Nottingham – one of the East Midlands’ most popular retail destinations, situated just off junction 26 of the M1. With more than six million visitors a year and major retailers including IKEA, M&S, Next, Decathlon and TK Maxx all on site alongside a range of eateries, it’s exactly the kind of location where charging just works.

The site features 16 x 160kW ultra-rapid chargers, including three fully accessible bays, all powered by 100% renewable electricity. Whether you’re doing a full IKEA shop, grabbing a bite to eat or browsing the shops, InstaVolt handles the charging while you get on with your visit.
