RoSPA Gold Award earned for 6th year running!

We have been awarded a Gold Medal by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for the sixth consecutive year, recognising our ongoing commitment to health and safety across the business.

Winning once is an achievement. Winning six years in a row is something else entirely, it means the standards we set haven’t slipped as the business has changed shape around them. Health and safety at InstaVolt is built into how every team operates day to day, from the engineers maintaining chargers on the network to the crews delivering new sites. Every member of the team plays a part in looking out for one another and doing things the right way, and this award reflects that shared standard rather than any single effort.

This year’s award lands during one of our busiest periods yet. In the past 12 months we’ve started work on our new Superhub on the A303 and installed hundreds of new chargers across the UK, growing the network while holding the line on the safety standards this award recognises. Rapid growth and rigorous safety don’t always go hand in hand in infrastructure delivery, so keeping both moving together is something we’re genuinely proud of.

The award comes as part of RoSPA’s 70th anniversary programme, with 2026 drawing 2,000 entries from nearly 60 countries. RoSPA has recognised the achievement as the result of sustained hard work and dedication, and a fitting example of the kind of leadership that has helped raise workplace safety standards over the organisation’s 70-year history.

Six years of Gold Medals is a strong foundation. As we continue expanding across the UK and Ireland, including the new Chicklade Superhub coming later this year, the same safety standards that earned this award will keep guiding how we build and operate every site.
