Electric car drivers in south-east London can now enjoy the most reliable and user-friendly rapid charging network in the UK.

To cope with demand, InstaVolt has opened at The Broadway in the centre of Bexleyheath in the London Borough of Bexley. The installation consists of four rapid charging stations which can be located on the top level of the car park with easy access opposite the M&S store entrance.

The arrival of the chargers provides much needed reliable charging infrastructure for the growing number of EV drivers in the area.

Like all of InstaVolt’s chargers, those at The Broadway are available for EV drivers to use on a pay-as-you-go basis with no subscription, card or membership needed. Drivers simply tap their contactless credit or debit card to pay.

InstaVolt’s CEO, Adrian Keen, said: “The Broadway is the perfect location for our rapid chargers. Despite lockdown, while our drivers charge their car, they can shop; enjoy a take-away coffee or grab a bite to eat.”

“All being well from December 2 they can enjoy the amenities at the nearby Broadway Shopping Centre which is just a short walk away together Bexleyheath’s independent shops and cafes and restaurants”

InstaVolt’s achievements have been recognised by the industry and drivers alike. The company won two of the key categories at the Electric Vehicle Innovation & Excellence (EVIE) Awards 2020, namely “Private Sector Infrastructure Strategy of the Year”, and “Chargepoint Network of the Year.”

InstaVolt was also named as the best electric vehicle charging network for multiple brands in Auto Express magazine’s first ever chargepoint operator survey in April 2020. In its Driver Power customer satisfaction rankings, the highly respected motoring magazine also gives InstaVolt its coveted “Recommended” award.
