Chineham Park

When Chineham Park saw the number of electric vehicles driving onto its premises increasing, it saw an opportunity to give its tenants a brand-new benefit.

The prominent business park, home to global brands such as Motorola and Ericsson, contacted InstaVolt to see if it could install electric vehicle chargers that could be used by people working at and visiting the park.

The story

The service would provide a unique benefit to users of Chineham Park, allowing them to charge their electric vehicles to 80 per cent power in just 30 minutes.

InstaVolt was able to move quickly, with its experts soon securing planning permission to place two rapid charging units on site and installation following soon after.

The chargers were strategically placed opposite Chineham Park’s on-site gym and café, meaning users can charge up while having their workout, grabbing a morning coffee or stopping for lunch.

InstaVolt continues to operate and maintain the chargers at Chineham Park, which are available for all tenants and visitors to use on a pay-as-you-go, subscription-free basis.
