London, 2 November 2026: InstaVolt and Virgin Red, Virgin’s rewards club, have teamed up to give EV drivers a new way to earn rewards from every charge. From today, drivers can transfer their InstaVolt Miles reward points, known as Volts, into Virgin Points at a rate of one Volt to one Virgin Point. The partnership connects InstaVolt, the UK’s largest ultra-rapid charging network, with hundreds of rewards available through Virgin Red.

Members can collect points to put towards Caribbean sailings with Virgin Voyages, stays with Virgin Hotels Collection, and Virgin Atlantic reward seats and upgrades. Closer to home, points can unlock cinema tickets, meals out, and days out with Virgin Experience Days, giving drivers more ways to enjoy the rewards of their everyday journeys.

InstaVolt Miles is a free rewards programme available to all InstaVolt app users, with no additional sign-up or subscription required. Introduced in October, drivers are automatically enrolled to the programme and earn Volts for every £1 spent charging through the app.

The programme has four tiers, with drivers earning between one and 15 Volts for every £1 spent charging through the InstaVolt app. Drivers can choose to exchange their Volts for Virgin Points or use them towards future charging, with each Volt worth 1p when redeemed as InstaVolt charging credit.

Delvin Lane, Chief Executive Officer of InstaVolt, said: “We’re always looking for ways to give our customers more. We know drivers choose InstaVolt because our chargers are fast, reliable and easy to use, but we also want to make sure we’re rewarding them for coming back to us.

“With InstaVolt Miles, every charge earns them something back, whether that’s money off their next charge or Virgin Points they can put towards anything from cinema trips and days out to holidays and experiences.

“And unlike some other rewards programmes, there’s no subscription fee or membership cost. It’s all included in our free InstaVolt app, so drivers can simply charge as they normally would, earn Volts and choose how they want to use them. It really is that simple.”

Andrea Burchett, Chief Loyalty Officer for Virgin Group said: “We’re always looking for new ways to bring members closer to their next reward.  Our partnership with InstaVolt does just that, turning regular charging stops into something to look forward to. Whether that’s a cinema trip with friends or flights for their next holiday, our members now have another way to turn everyday spending into experiences they love.”

Volts can be converted into Virgin Points from today and are earned by charging using the subscription-free InstaVolt app at any of InstaVolt’s more than 4,000 chargers across 1,200 sites.

Drivers can also earn Volts when using InstaVolt’s off-peak rate of 55p/kWh between 8pm and 7am, earning the same number of Volts per £1 as at other times of day.
