Seamless EV Travel on the A16 with New InstaVolt Ultra-Rapid Charging Hub
InstaVolt has unveiled a brand-new ultra-rapid EV charging hub at Boston Quadrant, providing a vital boost for electric vehicle drivers travelling along the popular A16 route.
The site’s 12 state-of-the-art 160kW chargers offer a fast and reliable charging experience, making long journeys across Lincolnshire and beyond more convenient than ever.
Positioned on a key travel corridor between Peterborough and the coast, the new hub ensures that drivers can recharge quickly and easily without diverting from their route. Whether heading for a seaside break, a business trip, or simply passing through, InstaVolt’s ultra-rapid chargers provide a hassle-free solution for keeping EVs powered on the go.
Simon Smith, Chief Commercial Officer at InstaVolt, commented: “We’re excited to bring our latest ultra-rapid charging hub to Boston Quadrant, ensuring EV drivers have a seamless journey. With our reliable network, stopping for a charge is no longer an additional step, but a quick and easy part of the trip.”
The new hub is part of the ongoing development at Boston Quadrant, adding to the area’s infrastructure while complementing InstaVolt’s existing chargers at a nearby Starbucks. The site also features a Travelodge, providing a comfortable environment for drivers to work, relax, or enjoy a hot drink before continuing their journey. The latest 160kW chargers complement the existing 125kW units nearby, providing additional capacity and reducing wait times for drivers. The site also includes two accessible bays, ensuring inclusive access for all users.
With almost 1,900 chargers now in operation across the UK, InstaVolt continues to expand its award-winning network, supporting the country’s transition to electric mobility.
