Our A303 Ultra-Rapid Charging Hub takes an important step forward
Development is progressing at our Chicklade ultra-rapid EV charging hub, as the former service station site on the A303 begins its transformation into a future-ready charging destination.
With the demolition of the existing petrol station due next week, momentum will continue to build. Our farm shop partner will be confirmed in spring, when construction works will ramp up and the site will enter its next exciting phase of visible on-site progress.
Once complete, the hub will feature over 30 ultra-rapid 160kW chargers alongside high-quality facilities designed to enhance comfort and dwell time. These will include 24-hour amenities, landscaped outdoor areas, a café and farm shop, a children’s play area and a new footpath connecting the site to the village of Chicklade.
Set within the historic Fonthill Estate, the Chicklade hub remains on track for completion later this year and represents another important step forward in expanding reliable ultra-rapid charging along the A303.
