Your app just keeps getting better, now with off-peak rates in the Republic of Ireland
We’re always working to make the InstaVolt app do more for our drivers, and today’s update is a good one: InstaVolt app and InstaVolt RFID users can now access off-peak charging rates at our sites across the Republic of Ireland for the first time.
What’s new
From Monday, 6 July, charging between 8pm and 7am at any of our Republic of Ireland sites costs just 55c per kWh when you pay through the InstaVolt app or using an RFID card, a saving on our standard rate of 85c per kWh. It’s the same off-peak benefit UK drivers already enjoy, now extended to our growing Irish network.
One app, more ways to save
This means your InstaVolt app now works harder for you wherever you’re charging, UK or Ireland, day or night. Off-peak pricing has already proven popular with drivers here in the UK, helping flexible chargers spread their charging across the day and pay less for it. Now that same saving is available to drivers across the Republic of Ireland too.
Growing alongside our network
This update lands as our Irish network continues to grow, with 10 sites and 25 ultra-rapid chargers currently live and more on the way, many located at places like McDonald’s restaurants, so charging fits naturally around a stop you’re already making. Every charger, wherever you are, is powered by 100% renewable energy.
Download and start saving
If you haven’t already, download the InstaVolt app to make the most of off-peak pricing, wherever your driving takes you. It’s one more way we’re making ultra-rapid charging simpler, smarter and more affordable for every driver on our network.
