Sales Administrator

Role Overview

InstaVolt are looking for Sales Administrator to maximise business opportunities and deliver effective internal strategies to contribute towards the continued expansion of InstaVolt.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the internal sales process, managing portfolios and delivering key updates to the Sales Team. They should be skilled in Microsoft Office, communication and administration.

Application Support Engineer

InstaVolt are the largest owner operator of rapid electric vehicle charging stations across the UK and we pride ourselves on customer experience and satisfaction. Winners of multiple industry and driver awards we are the market leader in EV infrastructure and due to rapid expansion of the charging network we are now hiring for a skilled Application Support Engineer.

Sitting within our IT team, as an Application Support Engineer you will be the first port of call for system issues relating to our digital portal and Android/iOS mobile applications used by our customers.

You will be an experienced trouble shooter in 2nd line application support, as well as having some 3rd line support knowledge; and you will be use to investigating complex issues, and relate your findings to the development team. You should have the ability to switch between applications and understand how systems operate together.

It would be beneficial if your experience spanned across any of our typical systems, tools and applications, such as:

  • Rational Database (SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL)
  • Networking Fundamentals
  • Understanding of REST/SOAP API
  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • Cloud fundamentals
  • Python, Javascript
  • Apple IOS and Android.

CAD Technician

Job Title: CAD Technician
Location: InstaVolt Ltd, Chineham Business Park, Basingstoke
Base: Office based

The selected candidate will be expected to have basic knowledge of AutoCAD. They will be required to complete 2D site designs taking into account a variety of situational factors. The company is fast paced so the ability to work quickly and efficiently is important. At any one time the successful candidate will be expected to work on multiple sites at different stages of development which means the ability to prioritise and work under pressure is crucial. 

Whilst work on AutoCAD will be a key part of the role, they will also be expected to expand their knowledge and learn about the planning process and understand grid offers to be able to further the development of a site. 

It would be preferable if the candidate had the below skills. 

  • Knowledge of and ability to use AutoCAD software is essential. 
  • The desire to learn more about project development and get involved in the Planning and Grid process. 
  • Great time management and communication skills. 
  • To be able to work under pressure and within a fast moving, dynamic industry. 
  • Prioritise workload depending on a variety of factors. 
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint and OneDrive and the ability to pick up knowledge on different systems. 
  • Great administration skills to allow for tracking of site progress and information sharing. 

The role would suit somebody who is looking to start a career within the EV industry within one of the leading providers of EV charging. The role will see the applicant helping to develop new EV charging projects from the ground up and applying their own design to these sites.
