InstaVolt launches Miles rewards programme with Virgin Red partnership

New InstaVolt Miles programme rewards drivers every time they charge, with Virgin Red partnership set to unlock Virgin Points and thousands of rewards from 2nd November.

InstaVolt, the UK’s leading ultra-rapid EV charging network, has launched InstaVolt Miles, a new loyalty programme designed to make every charge more rewarding.

Available through the free InstaVolt app, drivers earn Volts every time they charge, starting at one Volt for every £1 spent and earning more as they progress through four reward tiers. Volts can be redeemed as charging credit, helping customers save money on future journeys.

InstaVolt Miles will shortly become even more rewarding through a new partnership with Virgin Red. Drivers will be able to convert their Volts into Virgin Points, giving them access to the huge range of rewards available through Virgin Red – from flights and holidays to hotel stays, cinema trips, experiences, dining and more.

It means charging with InstaVolt won’t just help drivers get where they are going – their charging can help pay towards their next holiday, day out or experience too.

Unlike loyalty programmes that require customers to pay for additional benefits, InstaVolt Miles is completely free. Every InstaVolt app user is automatically enrolled, with no additional sign-up, membership fee or subscription.

The programme has four tiers – Starter, Bronze, Silver and Gold – with customers progressing based on their charging activity. The more they charge, the more they earn, with Gold members receiving up to 15 Volts for every £1 spent.

The launch builds on the continued growth of the InstaVolt app, which has now been downloaded more than 600,000 times. As well as Miles, app users benefit from InstaVolt’s off-peak charging rate, live charger availability and journey planning across the network.

InstaVolt Miles is live now across InstaVolt’s network of more than 4,000 chargers at over 1,200 sites nationwide, with Virgin Points redemption through Virgin Red launching in November.
