Explore without limits this summer
Summer is made for getting out and exploring. Whether you’re planning a trip to the Lake District, the Welsh coast, the Cotswolds or Cornwall, our nationwide network keeps an InstaVolt charger within 30 miles wherever you’re travelling in England and Wales, giving you the freedom to stop when it suits you.
The Lake District and West Cumbria
Fells, lakes and coastline draw thousands of visitors every summer, and our sites across the region, including Windermere, Keswick and Ulverston at Booths supermarkets, mean a charge is never far from wherever you’re headed. Further along the coast, Barrow-in-Furness and Whitehaven extend that coverage right into West Cumbria.
Wales
From the mountains of Eryri National Park to routes south towards the Wye Valley, our sites at Rhug Estate Farm Shop and Bwch Moch Café keep North Wales covered, with Taurus Crafts extending the network along the route into South Wales.
East Anglia
Norfolk and Suffolk’s coastline and countryside are among the most popular summer escapes in the country. Our sites at Cromer, Great Yarmouth and Saxmundham mean the Norfolk coast and the Suffolk Heritage Coast are both well within reach.
The South West
Devon and Cornwall see some of the busiest summer traffic anywhere in the UK. Our sites at Exeter, Bodmin and Saltash keep the A38 and A30 corridors covered, whether you’re heading to the coast or further into Cornwall.
The Cotswolds
Market towns and honey-coloured stone are what the Cotswolds are known for, and our site at Burford sits right in the heart of it, with Swindon’s Orbital Shopping Park and Lydiard Fields covering the approach from the M4.
Location, location, location
Wherever you stop, our sites are built around what’s already there, supermarkets, cafés, farm shops, retail parks, so a charging stop never feels like time wasted. Fast, reliable ultra-rapid charging paired with somewhere worthwhile to spend a few minutes, that’s the idea behind all of it.
Make every stop count
Charging is just one part of the journey, so we choose locations where there’s something worth stopping for. Whether that’s enjoying a coffee, sampling the local produce at a farm shop or grabbing those last-minute holiday essentials at the shops, it’s all about making the most of the time while your car charges.
Charging you can rely on
Behind every InstaVolt charging stop is a network designed to keep you moving. Proactive monitoring, 24/7 engineer support and a 99%+ network uptime mean you can rely on a charger being ready when you need it. And when it’s time to charge, it’s simple: pay your way with contactless card, our free app or RFID card, with off-peak rates of just 55p per kWh between 8pm and 7am.
